Mary’s Philosophies
We believe in teaching your dog to think and respond properly rather than run around like a circus dog. Our program will transform your excitable bundle of fur into a reliably trained dog suitable for your busy lifestyle. During training, Mary educates your dog using real life situations such as parks, shopping malls, schools, city streets and pet stores. Mary will also customize her training to include specific behavioral problems each owner would like assistance with such as jumping up, mouthing and barking.
About the training program at Anderson Acres
Our basic Board and Train Package is 3 weeks long and includes two cross-training sessions with the owner. Your dog will learn to “sit”, “down”, “stay”, “heel” and “come” on command, while on-leash.
Our Advanced Program is 4 weeks or longer and deals with sophisticated skills that require additional time at camp. It includes off-leash heeling, off-leash recall, and “place” training (your dog has a spot or place that is his to go to and stay until released). The Advanced Program is also for some very willful dogs who just need extra time with unique situations.
Brush-ups are also available when your dog returns to board at Anderson Acres.
After your dog’s daily training session he/she will have access to all the facilities at Anderson Acres Canine Guest Ranch where your pet will enjoy playing with his new friends in our spacious yards. Our professional staff will pamper your pet with individual attention such as brushing, ear cleaning, nail trims, or just some special cuddle time.
Our training program is $700 a week; brush-ups are $75.00 a day plus the regular boarding rate.
Mary’s program is tried and proven. Families throughout the Bay Area are amazed with the results they see from her training.
